The Jeffersonian Rain Gauge uses a mechanical float and lever design to measure up to 5 inches of rain in 1/5" increments. This gauge will turn into the wind to ensure the most accurate measurement or may be tighted down to fix its location. Makes a great gift!

(Please note: The glass vials are breakable and therefore not covered by our warranty, but are available for a nominal cost. We recommend bringing your rain gauge inside before air temperatures reach the freezing point. This will keep it safely free of ice, which can expand and break the vial.)
